Should I worry?

This post was going to be some random things about painting. Anika has flown off south for the winter (well, just for a week of uni holiday) and we figured we should paint her room next while she's not in it. As it turns out the painting went fairly smoothly today and her room is now in a state of sparkling paint-ness. This means Hubby and I get to play holiday tomorrow.

I'm wondering if Anika's trip is going as smoothly though. I got an email late today saying this in reply to my enquiring how things were:

'Thank you. The trip so far has involved many things...such as reading Dostoyevsky's The Underground and flooding out a fast food restaurant (the water reached the first row of chairs in the eating area) when I went to wash my hands and accidentally removed the top of the tap in the ladies' bathroom. On a less positive note, I may have lost my mp3 player. We'll see. How's painting?'

I'm wondering if I should worry about this? My reply started, 'Dear Mr Frumble....'

I'm asking myself why?

As the title suggests I'm asking myself why oh why did I want to change internet/phone provider back to the one I had a few years ago? I should have reminded myself of the constant problem I had of having to ring them every month to sort out billing problems. That was the reason why I changed from them in the first place. I guess it was because we were offered cable internet for no installation cost and wireless connections.

But now of course come the billing problems. At first we were charged for installation and I had to ring to sort that out, then to sort out the wrong plan bill and so on. In the last couple of months I've had a welcome credit added twice so my phone bill has arrived with heaps of credit on it. Then I rang to work out why I haven't got a bill for the internet and they told me not to bother about the double credit. They also said they would put the internet bill on hold until they could work out how to bill me with the 'new' system. Now they've sent me a bill for the new internet month saying that I've paid the last month (I haven't - because they couldn't send me a bill).

If this keeps going they'll be sending me a cheque each month for using their phone/internet service.
