Still laughing

I remember some years ago when Anika obviously got a mis-directed SMS which went along the lines of, "I love you my darling cup cake." Anika replied to the effect that she was not their cup cake and they must have the wrong number.

Today the postie dropped a very directed postcard to Lloyd. The postcard is of a beautiful beach scene from somewhere in Europe. What amused me was the contents, posted below, for your amusement (with Lloyd's permission):

Dearest CoCo (3 hearts drawn next to this),

I know that we are young, but deep in my heart I know that our love is pure and strong. I never want to be anywhere else but in your arms. I know your parents don't approve*, but we have to take this chance. Elope with me my dear, my darling, my soulmate. You are my forever beloved.

On Wednesday Matt was studying the book of Judges and was asked in his school study what Australia would be like if there was no government. I started suggesting the usual - no law and order etc etc but Matt summed up the day's events nicely:
