Interesting choices

Last week Lloyd went off for his annual freeze-to-death-in-the-Australian-bush with the Boys Brigade. This year he got to do a 'duo' campout with another of his age. Apparently they were given a certain amount of money, taken to Woollies and then they had to buy the food that they would cook for the few days they were out as well as being given some staples from the camp kitchen.

I guess I expected the usual two-minute noodles and so forth but Lloyd told me that they didn't 'cook anything' and that breakfast for one day and dinner for one night consisted of chocolate only!

I wondered if it was just a gap in his education that led to such an appalling diet since, unlike Matt, Lloyd has never shown much interest in cooking. Then Lloyd tells me that his duo partner is an apprentice chef!

The mind boggles. *Note to self* :When this apprentice starts his own restaurant, only visit if I need a severe chocolate fix.
