A Few More Days
There's a few more days of school left for Mike and Matt and we are all feeling rather jaded. It's becoming increasingly difficult to extract anything meaningful from those dark places that are called children's minds. There were a couple of comments during school this morning that had me smiling though:
Mike (looking at the metre ruler marked as 100 centimeters): I am taller than 100 kilometres!
I wonder if the rarified air up there is causing some of the tiredness?
Matt (watching me take the sheets from his bed): But you just changed them *last* week!
His brain has obviously not observed the fact that sheets are changed every week. He needs a holiday.

I can sympathize with having a weary brain... and I greatly enjoyed the quotes. Thanks!

you grow them tall south of the equator, don't you? Must be all that clean living.
Hope the break did the trick. :)
